AMERICAN VETERAN OF THE VIETNAM WAR. You never received the thanks from a grateful nation which you so richly deserved. You did not come home to flag-waving parades and community picnics. At best, you were barely acknowledged. At worst, you were ridiculed and spat upon at airports as you returned home from your tour of duty. Tragically, many of you never returned at all. Live performance singing my original song, "My America, I Love You" (copyright 2006) on the beach during SOS 2010 in North Myrtle Beach. 150 patriotic Americans were on hand to hear and see me pay tribute to all the troops and veterans for their selfless sacrifice and service to our country, the United States of America. This is sung from the perspective of an American serviceman who lost his life while defending his country. He is singing to us from heaven, professing his continued love and patriotism for his beloved America. Especially appropriate on Memorial Day. This is another music video of my original, American patriotic song "Soldier, Good-bye". This video features photographs of my uncle Bernie Lavelle, who served as a Sergeant in the Army during World War II. To me and to many of my relatives, he was a Reader's Digest "Unforgettable Character"! Though he died nearly fifty years ago, I vividly remember him today and always will. Going through all the old family photos in preparing this video brought back many fond memories of Bernie and the entire Lavelle family. God bless you, Uncle Bernie!

My thanks to everyone at the Mid-Ohio Boogie Bash 2009 who helped demonstrate the dance.
